European International Contractors (EIC) is a legally independent non-profit association registered in Berlin, Germany, which represents the interests of the European construction industry in all questions related to its international construction activities. In order to fulfil this task, EIC is in constant contact with all international, European and professional organisations whose policy is of relevance to the international construction business. As a profession association, it offers all its member companies a unique forum to exchange ideas and experience.

In performing its activities, EIC co-operates closely with the European Construction Industry Federation (>FIEC).

Both federations perceive themselves in complementary roles. Whereas FIEC is the spokesman for the European construction industry in the context of the process of European harmonisation and integration, the mission of EIC is to improve the political, economic and legal framework governing the international construction activities of European international contractors.
